Longmont's inaugural Colorado Latino Festival celebrates Latin American and Caribbean culture
Unity and fun were the dual themes of Sunday's inaugural Colorado Latino Festival, which filled three blocks in downtown Longmont with music, food and vendors.
It's great that they put this together," said Alyria Salazar, who lives in Thornton. "My family is from Panama. It's important to celebrate the Latino heritage and see all the different Latinos united."
The festival highlighted Latin American and Caribbean culture with live music on three stages. Some 90 vendors also spread out along Main Street, which was closed to traffic from Third to Sixth avenues. MORE
