Latino business conference brings hundreds to Longmont

Education was the big theme at the Colorado Latino Business Conference held Thursday at Longmont's Plaza Conference Center. It was the 11th annual event and was sponsored by the Colorado Latino Chamber.
In addition to workshops and discussions on leadership, entrepreneurship, marketing and launching a business, the conference featured a Young Rebels Competition in which teams from 12 area high schools conceived of a business, drafted a business plan and then presented their ideas to a team of judges.
